Senior Mental Health Clinician Youth Enhanced Services

• Part or Full time (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) position until 30 June 2027
• Based in Rockhampton and the surrounding area with hybrid and flexible working arrangements (on the land of the of the Darumbal People)
• $51.23 - $58.00 per hour 12% super salary packaging up to $18550 per year (based on qualifications and experience)

The Youth Enhanced Services (YES) program supports young people aged 1225 experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges. Delivered through the CCQ Mental Health AOD Hubs the program offers multidisciplinary care therapeutic interventions and community connection to help young people thrive.

Your role your impact

As a Senior Mental Health Clinician youll lead the delivery of high-quality evidence-based therapy to young people while mentoring junior clinicians and contributing to service development. Youll work closely with families schools and local services to create coordinated care plans that make a real difference in young lives.  You will work from home see clients in the community work from headspace office or work from one of our hubs.

What youll be doing

• Lead and deliver specialist counselling using CBT DBT ACT and other modalities
• Support and mentor junior clinicians to maintain high service standards
• Collaborate with local stakeholders to ensure integrated care
• Document clinical work accurately and meet service targets
• Participate in supervision team meetings and referral pathway development

Who were looking for

• Experience in individual therapy with adolescents
• Understanding of trauma youth mental health and recovery principles
• Experience in delivering evidence based therapies including CBT DBT and ACT

Qualifications :

• A minimum Bachelor qualification in Counselling Social Work (or Master of Social Work) Occupational Therapy or Nursing with a Mental Health specialisation
• Current registration with a professional body
