Every business is now facing increasing pressure to transparently report on its environmental and social impactwhether driven by regulatory change investor expectations or broader sustainability these situations expert advice underpinned by a strong understanding of sustainability and climate-related reporting frameworks is essential.

As Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards AASB S1 & S2 and global frameworks such as ISSB continue to evolve and challenge organisations our team is expanding. We are continuing to uncover new opportunities and develop innovative ways to support clients as they navigate this rapidly changing landscape.

Current Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Sustainability Reporting team in this role you willprovidea range of technical and strategic advice to clients across sustainability climate-related financial reporting and non-financial disclosures. You will play a lead role in supporting clients as they respond to new mandatory sustainability reporting requirements and embed robust audit-ready reporting practices.

As a member of the Sustainability Reporting team you will have the opportunity to apply yourexpertiseacross a broad range of engagements including ESG reporting implementation climate risk and scenario analysis governance and controls uplift and finance function transformation across both private and public sector clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver mandatory sustainability reporting services including process design and audit readiness across carbon footprint measurement (Scope 1 2 and 3) climate risk assessments scenario analysis and preparation of sustainability disclosures

  • Support clients in establishing GHG inventories defining boundaries and developing carbon accounting methodologies

  • Advise on climate-related financial disclosures including governance risk management and integration into financial reporting processes

  • Providetailored advice aligned with evolving frameworks such as AASB S1 & S2 ISSB TCFD and other sustainability reporting standards

  • Assistclients in translating complex reporting requirements into practical scalable solutions

  • Support and mentor junior team members contributing to a high-performance team environment

  • Contribute to proposal development thought leadership training and coaching initiatives

About You

  • CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) ideally with a background in audit accounting or financial reporting

  • Experience in financial audit assurance or accounting advisory with exposure to ESG/sustainability climate reporting or non-financial disclosures

  • Understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. ISSB TCFD AASB S1 & S2) or a strong interest in developing capability in this space

  • Experience or exposure to carbon accounting climate risk assessment or ESG reporting processes is highly regarded

  • Ability to interpret complex and evolving reporting requirements and translate them into practical client outcomes

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a proactive and client-focused approach

  • Growth mindset and genuine interest in sustainability climate and the evolving reporting landscape

  • Self-motivated outcomes-driven individual
