The role
- Full Time Continuing(held concurrently with Course Director Up to 50% fraction role for an initial period of up to 3 years)
- Level C - $139182 to $160308 pa (plus Course Director allowance and 17% superannuation)
- Level D - $167348 to $184243 pa (plus Course Director allowance and17% superannuation)
- Level E - $215225 pa (plus Course Director allowance and17% superannuation)

Are you an experienced and accredited Exercise Physiologist looking to take the next step in your academic career As a Clinical Exercise Physiology academic you will inspire students drive innovative research influence professional practice and help deliver meaningful health outcomes for communities. Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary School youll have the opportunity to lead curriculum development contribute to course accreditation build strategic partnerships and advance the profession through teaching research and clinical engagement.
We are also offering a fixed-term Course Director role concurrently to this position. The Course Director will provide academic leadership and management for a complex course or group of courses overseeing curriculum development and quality assurance accreditation processes and compliance with academic regulations. The role also involves industry liaison marketing and student advisory processes as well as leading course teams and contributing to strategic planning to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and an exceptional student experience.
This academic position and level C/D or E is a full-time continuing appointment providing long-term career stability. The Course Director role will be offered concurrently on a fixed-term basis for a minimum of three years.

About you
- PhD in Exercise Physiology (or related discipline) and ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
- Experience in Clinical Exercise Physiology practice and contemporary healthcare settings.
- Strong teaching capability with experience in curriculum development and student engagement.
- Demonstrated research track record with publications and research impact.
- Ability to build industry partnerships and lead course accreditation and professional engagement.
- For Associate Professor (Level D) and Professor (Level E) evidence of national or international research leadership HDR supervision and research funding success is highly desirable.
