Job Summary

This role is not for someone who wants to manage a trainingcalendar. It is for someone who wants to build something.

Parkerville Children and Youth Care is looking for a seniorLearning and Development Manager to lead our professional learning functionwithin our Centre of Excellence designing and delivering learning thatgenuinely changes practice across an organisation of 250-plus staff servingchildren young people and families impacted by trauma and adversity.

The scope is broad: a whole-of-organisation professionallearning calendar leadership forums our annual staff conference trainingarchitecture for our licensed practice models and a longer-term contributionto establishing a Registered Training Organisation. You will manage a smallteam hold a budget think commercially and contribute to organisationalstrategy as a genuine member of our Centre of Excellence collective leadershipteam.

We are looking for someone with a bachelors degree aCertificate IV in Training and Assessment and demonstrated senior leadershipexperience in human services or a related sector. Someone intellectuallycurious about adult learning about our people about emerging technologyabout what is possible. Someone who collaborates by instinct and understandsthat in a trauma-informed organisation professional learning is itself arelational practice.

This is a full-time role based in Burswood but with responsibilities at all Parkerville sites.
