We act for the roleBe at the forefront of a major digital transformation at the Australian Red Cross as our Senior IT Project Manager. This is a high-impact role where you will lead the technical delivery of the Client Services and Billing System (FFS) programdriving a strategic shift to modernise billing and service delivery. The program will enable automation and improved data capture across service delivery financial management and reporting supporting activity-based billing while strengthening financial controls compliance and revenue outcomes across key service to the Head of Application Delivery and Architecture the Senior IT Project Manager Operates with autonomy overseeing multiple streams within this high impact enterprise-wide project ensuring alignment with organisational strategy technology roadmaps and compliance position provides strategic leadership in delivering the FFS project delivery guiding teams and partners to achieve outcomes that support Red Cross humanitarian mission while working closely with senior stakeholdersincluding the CIO Program Manager business leaders vendors and the EPMOto influence priorities manage interdependencies and ensure successful execution of enterprise-wide youExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication with demonstrated ability to manage both technical and business stakeholders and resourcesSubstantial experience (Ideally 5 years) in managing complex high-value IT projects and programs including end-to-end planning development and execution across multiple streamsDemonstrated skills in developing and maintaining enterprise-level project management artefacts including integrated schedules governance plans budgets and executive reportingAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources customers and other service departmentsExtensive experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies including Scrum practices such as backlog management user story development estimation and prioritisationProven proficiency in Jira/Confluence MS Project and MS Office including MS VisioDemonstrated ability to manage internal IT teams overseas consultants external vendors and solution tertiary qualifications specifically a Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or a related discipline is essential along with relevant substantial Management certifications (PMBOK PRINCE2 or similar standards)Desirable:Postgraduate qualification in Project Management Business Administration or Technology ManagementAgile Product Owner certification (PSPO1 etc.) and Agile Scrum Master certification (PSM1 CSM etc.)Benefits that act for you while you act for humanityWork flexibility: Australian Red Cross offers flexible & hybrid working designed to balance flexibility with purposeful in-office collaboration; strengthen team culture build trust and drive wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
