About the Team
WithintheStrata & PropertyBranchthis role forms part oftheStrata & PropertyServices to safeguard the integrity of strata andproperty services by conducting effective inspectionsdeliveringtimelyand targeted interventions and undertaking robustprosecutions where breaches occur. The team works proactively to ensurecompliance with relevant laws mitigate risks across the sector and uphold therights and responsibilities of all participants in NSWs strata and propertyservices industry.

About the Role

  • Conduct and lead inspections audits and investigations into potential breaches of legislation.
  • Collect analyse and manage evidence to supportand takea range ofenforcementtoolsand compliance outcomes.
  • Prepare reports notices and recommendations based on investigative findings.
  • Mentor and support junior inspectors and colleagues to build operational capability.
  • Engagewithconsumersreal estateagentsand tradersto promote understanding ofFair Tradingregulations.

To besuccessful in this role you will have:

  • Investigative skills experience conducting inspections audits or investigations in a regulatory or compliance environment.
  • Legislative understanding ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and policy.
  • Communication strong written and verbal skills to convey complex findings clearly.
  • Decision-making sound judgement and ability to assess risk and evidence effectively.
  • Leadership supportive and professional approach to guiding others and fostering a positive team culture.

Essentialcriteria

  • Demonstrated experience in compliance enforcement or investigation.
  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent/willingness to obtain).
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence as essential travel is required for field operations.
