Join Job Pathways as a Senior Indigenous Liaison Officer and play a key role in supporting Aboriginal job seekers building strong community partnerships and helping create meaningful employment opportunities across the Kimberley.

As the Senior Indigenous Liaison Officer you will develop and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal organisations Elders community groups employers and job seekers. You will provide practical support cultural guidance and advocacy to help individuals overcome barriers to employment while ensuring Job Pathways remains connected and responsive to community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive culturally appropriate relationships with Aboriginal communities and organisations.
• Promote awareness of Job Pathways services and strengthen community engagement.
• Support Aboriginal job seekers through mentoring advocacy and practical assistance.
• Act as a cultural liaison between job seekers and Employment Services staff.
• Assist clients with obtaining identification essential documentation and transport to appointments where required.
• Contribute to community consultation activities and provide feedback on emerging community needs and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate case notes reporting and administrative records.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and culturally responsive service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in community engagement Indigenous liaison employment services or stakeholder management (preferably in a not-for-profit setting).
• Strong relationships with Aboriginal communities Elders organisations and key stakeholders
• Ability to represent an organisation at community meetings and forums.
• Understanding of the social economic and environmental factors affecting remote communities (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records and reports

What Youll Need

• Current C Class Drivers License (essential)
• National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain)
