The role
Youll lead medium to high-risk ICT sourcing and contract management activities partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs navigate market opportunities and deliver practical procurement outcomes.
Working closely with teams across DPHI youll provide trusted advice lead negotiations manage supplier relationships and help grow procurement capability across the department. Youll also bring your knowledge of ICT markets suppliers and NSW Government procurement frameworks to help us make informed decisions and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Whether youre developing sourcing strategies managing contracts or working through complex challenges with stakeholders youll play an important role in helping us work smarter together.

What you will bring to the role
- Experience in ICT procurement and contract management including knowledge of NSW Government ICT schemes and agreement frameworks.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels including those working in fast-paced environments or navigating procurement requirements for the first time.
- Experience leading end-to-end sourcing activities from market analysis and planning through to negotiation and contract execution
- Strong supplier relationship management skills and a track record of delivering value and positive business outcomes.
- The confidence to bring people together balance different perspectives and promote strong contract management practices.
- Great attention to detail with a solid understanding of procurement governance probity and audit requirements.
What is an essential requirement:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications business or equivalent relevant industry experience.
