This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects includingmajorDefencefacilities and precincts as well as commercial industrial and infrastructure developments that support Australias future capability and resilience.
Working alongside experienced engineers and project leaders you will play a key role in delivering high-quality hydraulic modelling and design solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety technical challenges and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
As a HydraulicModeller you will contribute to the planningdesignand delivery of hydraulic services systems across a range ofDefenceand infrastructure projects. You willbe responsible forthe detailed modelling of services including potable water sewer wastewater stormwater hot water generation and natural gas systems while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects that directly support criticalDefenceinfrastructure providing meaningful outcomes for Australian communities and national capability.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver detailed hydraulic modelling and documentation for building and infrastructure projects usingAutodesk Revit(AutoCAD experience highly regarded).
Support the development of hydraulic design solutions from concept through to detailed design.
Collaborate closely with project teamsclientsand stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Manage and deliverallocatedhydraulic discipline work packagesin accordance withproject requirements.
Ensure all work is completed to agreed standards of quality cost and schedule.
Apply Australian StandardsDefencerequirements clientspecificationsand industry best practices throughout project delivery.
Identifytroubleshootand resolve hydraulic design and coordination issues.
Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
Contribute innovative ideas that improve project performanceefficiencyand technical outcomes.
Maintain a strong focus on safetyqualityand continuous improvement.
Seek guidance and support when required to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
Associate Diploma Diploma in Engineering or a related qualification (highly regarded).
Minimum3 years experienceusingRevit MEPon hydraulic services projects.
Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic modelling and design within building or infrastructure environments.
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
A commitment to safety environmental and quality standards.
Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain andmaintainan AustralianDefenceSecurity Clearance.
