Senior Financial Accountant

What youll be doing.

As aSenior Financial Accountant you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insights that support informed decision-making across the organisation. You willbe responsible forensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting while contributing to strong financial governance and continuous improvement.

In this role you will:

• Complete monthly processes including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Provide technical accounting advice to broader team and mentor Financial Accountant(s).

• Prepare andassistwith project-related accounting.

• Prepare andassistwith internal and external audit requirements.

• Assistwith annual budgeting process.

• Assistwith annual statutory accounts.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards regulations and company policies.

Provide additionalappropriate supportto wider team and also playan important roleinmaintainingcompliance with financial standards WHS obligations and organisational policies while promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.

Whatwerelooking for

Wereseeking a qualified finance professional with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset.

You will ideally have:

• CA/CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting Commerce or Economics

• 5 years experience in financial accounting within a complex organisation

• Strong skills in financial reporting reconciliations and statutory reporting

• Experience preparing Board-level reporting and supporting audits

• High attention to detail andstrong communicationskills
