About the team and role:
To ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the ASXs financial processes and systems supporting various internal departments and external customers.
The Finance Operations team manages daily financial operations overseeing financial transactions and plays a key role implementing controls to maintain accuracy & compliance. The team bridges the gap between financial strategy and execution ensuring the ASXs financial health and supporting its overall objectives.
What you will be doing:
Supplier Invoice processing & payment Review and Approval
Staff Expense Report review & corporate credit card administration
Supplier setup & maintenance Review and Approval
Customer setup & billing details maintenance Review and Approval
Customer Receipts Allocation Direct Debit Review and Approval
Various monthly reports preparation & reconciliations
Collections analysis complex query & audit request management
Do not end with any ad-hoc duties; this is generally regarded as a given/expected
What you will bring:
Must have
Accounting or Finance related degree
Minimum 5 years of either Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable end-to-end process
Experience in a mid to large corporate B2B environment
Intermediate MS Office skills (Word Excel)
Nice to have:
Workday system experience
Previous experience in a high-volume transactional environment and/or financial market industry
Meticulous ability to prioritise workload against tight deadlines
Honest reliable and work collaboratively
Ability to take initiative in problem solving
Continuous improvement mindset
