ABOUT THE ROLE Cheltenham VIC Full-Time Ongoing
Were looking for a team-oriented and adaptable Senior EventCoordinator to join our AGS Events Team and play a key role in delivering arange of PGA Tour of Australasia events.
Working closely with the Tour Event Manager this role isresponsible for the end-to-end delivery of nominated Tour Events creatingoutstanding event experiences by managing all operational logistical and venuerequirements from initial planning through to event completion. There is alsoan element of overseeingcore components of Australian Golfs Major events such as the Australian PGAand WPGA Championships or the Australian Opens.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking tofurther their career in sport and events gaining hands-on experience acrossevery aspect of event delivery while helping showcase golf and inspire morepeople to play and enjoy the game.
Your impact:
End-to-end management ofnominated Tour Events
- Driving seamless eventoperations through effective management of site planning staging andinfrastructure tournament builds staffing and volunteers broadcastrequirements and onsite logistics
- Coordinatinghospitality event functions partner activations and player services to createoutstanding event experiences
- Building stronginternal and external stakeholder partnerships to ensure marketing sponsorshipand Tour commitments are successfully delivered
- Championing safetycompliance and operational excellence through risk management emergencyplanning contractor oversight and adherence to industry standards
- Managing budgets andevaluating event performance delivering financially responsible events whileidentifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Lead for specific projects forAustralian Golfs Majors
- Leading key projects for Australias premiergolf events managing areas such as volunteer programs hospitality playerservices ticketing and accreditation or participation activation programs

- Strong verbal andwritten communication skills with a customer-focused approach to servicedelivery
- Maintaining a highlevel of accuracy and attention to detail while responding to priorities withurgency
- Ability to solveproblems and make sound decisions individually and with a team
- Exhibitingself-motivation and a commitment to finding innovative ways to achieve outcomes
- Ability to identify andmanage event-related risks including effectively navigating stakeholderrelationships and challenging situations

- Strong understanding ofgolf (desirable but not essential)
Availability to spendconsiderable time at tournaments/events throughout Australia and the abilityto work non-traditional hours.
