Our client is a Large Government organisation who are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join their team in Canberra ACT.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Delivery Lead complex greenfield and urban development projects managing timelines milestones budgets resources approvals procurement construction and handover.
Governance Risk & Commercial Management Ensure compliance with contractual government and organisational requirements while actively managing procurement contracts project risks budgets and delivery performance.
Stakeholder Leadership & Reporting Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies developers contractors buyers and key stakeholders while providing clear reporting and strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
Selection Criteria:
At least 10 years experience in project or program delivery particularly across complex land development infrastructure urban development or similarly complex projects.
Strong knowledge of governance contract management procurement commercial management and risk management with the ability to manage projects against scope budget time and quality targets.
Strong stakeholder engagement communication and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and influence outcomes across government and industry environments.
