Reporting to the Project Leadership Team the Senior Design Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design activities across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design management function from planning through delivery
• Managing consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
• Driving design quality compliance and project outcomes
• Facilitating stakeholder engagement and design workshops
• Managing design risks and resolving technical challenges
• Supporting program cost and constructability objectives
• Ensuring compliance with client statutory and project requirements
• Working closely with project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• 10 years experience in Design Management roles
• Proven experience delivering major hospital or healthcare projects
• Strong background managing complex multidisciplinary design packages
• Experience working within Tier 1 construction major projects or large-scale infrastructure environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Strong understanding of design delivery project risk and construction methodologies
• Degree qualification in Engineering Architecture Construction Management or a related discipline

Demonstrated hospital project experience
