We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee thedelivery of the Citys Waste Collection Services and LandfillServices this role you will provide strongoperational leadership direction mentoring and support todedicated teams while ensuring the efficient cost-effective andcompliant delivery of waste management services. You will managekey contracts across FOGO recycling green waste and bulk vergewaste collections ensuring adherence to all statutoryenvironmental and licence requirements.

The position also oversees landfill operational contractsincluding landfill gas management recycling and green wasteprocessing. Working closely with the Manager Waste Services youwill contribute to budget management strategic planning capitalprocurement and the coordination of site development projects tosupport the Citys long-term waste management objectives.

To be considered for this role you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

• Proven leadership experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Extensive experience delivering operational services within the waste management sector or a comparable industry.
• Strong project management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects concurrently.
• Qualification in Civil Engineering Waste Management or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Project Management related qualification or demonstrated experience in project delivery.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Training).
