Senior Coordinator Senior Support Services

Temporary Full Time - 12 Month Contract (Parental Leave Replacement) - Until 12 November 2027

Band 8 Starting from $125814.25 super RDO(RDO applicable for full-time 38 hours per week only)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Councils Senior Support Services delivering high-quality Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services that support older people to remain independent connected and living safely in their own homes.

Reporting to the Manager Ageing Equity and Community Development you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Community Transport Delivered Meals Home Maintenance Willowview Social Support Groups and Business Support. You will lead a multidisciplinary team oversee budgets contracts quality and compliance and drive continuous improvement while preparing the service for significant Commonwealth aged care reforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader with a passion for community services who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational leadership in a dynamic local government environment.

What Were Looking For

Were looking for a candidate with demonstrated leadership experience in aged care community services or a related sector to lead Councils Senior Support Services.

This may include:

  • Leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple service areas.
  • Managing service delivery budgets contracts and funding requirements.
  • Building strong partnerships with government community organisations and other stakeholders.
  • Driving service improvement change management and organisational reform.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative quality and funding requirements.
  • Providing strategic advice and contributing to organisational planning.
