Our client is a Federal Government department who are seeking experienced Senior Cloud Architects / Cloud Engineers to join their team in a remote working arrangement with Canberra/ACT preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise-level cloud platform and solution architectures using Microsoft Azure and M365.
  
• Provide technical guidance across the design development and implementation of secure cloud-based systems including Azure DevOps automation CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
  
• Collaborate with business owners developers enterprise architects testers and other stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with stakeholder requirements and whole-of-government standards.
  

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years experience implementing and managing cloud systems and technologies with strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services Functions Logic Apps Azure SQL Service Bus and API Management.
  
• Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps Infrastructure as Code CI/CD Entra ID Key Vault Azure Monitor Application Insights Azure networking Private Endpoints and RBAC.
  
• Strong communication collaboration and Agile delivery skills with experience working across multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical team members.
  

On offer is a 12-month contract with 24 month extension options at a highly sought-after Federal Government department with a highly competitive daily rate.
