Job Summary
At Guild Insurance our Digital team builds and evolves the platforms our customers use every day from researching products to managing policies online. We are seeking a Senior Digital Business Analyst to join the team on a 12-month secondment.
This role is designed to bring maturity of thinking strong stakeholder capability and a genuine customer experience lens into a junior heavy team. You will help guide delivery lift ways of working and act as a strong example of what senior digital analysis looks like in practice.
What youll be doing
As a Senior Digital Business Analyst you will work across customer facing digital initiatives partnering closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to shape high quality solutions. You will:
- Own analysis and requirements end to end from problem definition through to delivery validation
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders constructively challenging requirements and managing expectations
- Translate business needs into clear practical functional and technical requirements
- Apply a strong customer and CX lens to solution design considering usability accessibility performance and security
- Contribute to solution design for web and digital platforms working closely with developers and designers
- Elicit document and maintain high quality artefacts including user stories acceptance criteria and functional specifications ensuring documentation remains current in tools such as Jira
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including refinement sprint planning showcases and retrospectives
- Partner with Quality Assurance to support test planning review outcomes and ensure solutions meet agreed requirements
- Review delivered outcomes against requirements and customer intent ensuring solutions solve the right problem
- Act as a senior presence within the team including mentoring other Business Analysts and contributing to the uplift of BA practice and standards
What were looking for
You do not need to be an expert in everything but you do need depth of thinking confidence and ownership. We are ideally looking for someone who has:
- Solid experience as a Business Analyst working on digital or customer facing platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills including the confidence to respectfully challenge and negotiate
- A demonstrated customer experience mindset supporting internal or external customers
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Exposure to web technologies digital platforms or portals with depth in every area not required
- The ability to take ownership speak up when something does not feel right and see work through to completion
- Curiosity empathy and a willingness to learn new domains or tools
