About Us
Summit Abilities is a Newcastle based disability support provider founded by brother and sister duo Ben and Taylah. Were built on a simple belief: people with disabilities deserve to be supported through voice choice and collaboration.
This is a newly created part-time role three days per week with flexible hours reporting to the Director. Youll own end to end bookkeeping and payroll liaise with the NDIS and providers to keep invoicing on track.
The Role
- End to end payroll processing in line with the SCHADS Award
- Accounts payable accounts receivable bank reconciliations andjournal entries in Employment Hero/KeyPay
- NDIS claiming invoice resolution and liaison with providers andthe NDIA
- BAS and IAS preparation and lodgment
- Month end and year end support plus ad-hoc financial reporting
About You
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Payroll Officer
- Deep practical understanding of the SCHADS Award
- Strong working knowledge of NDIS financial frameworks theclaiming process and the NDIS pricing guide
- High competency with Xero and the Microsoft Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to workautonomously
Highly Favourable
- Experience in the NDIS or disability sector
- Experience with Employment Hero / KeyPay payroll software
- Familiarity with ShiftCare
