About the role:

• Manage catastrophic injury claims involving brain injuries spinal injuries and amputations
• Litigate CTP matters from early strategy through to resolution
• Attending hearings mediations negotiations in relation to CTP claims
• Briefing and instructing counsel
• Matter management client reporting and settlement strategy
• Mentoring junior lawyers and helping support the growth of the team

The ideal candidate:

• 5 years PAE in defendant CTP insurance
• Strong experience managing litigated matters end to end
• Confident dealing with insurers experts counsel and opposing parties
• Clear practical drafting and advice skills
• Comfortable appearing in procedural hearings and conferences
• Commercial organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Interested in mentoring juniors and stepping into a senior role
