This role provides a unique opportunity to join our fast-growing Risk Consulting Team with a focus on anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF). With a diverse portfolio of financial service clients and gaming and wagering clients no two days are the dame. You will be given the guidance and tools to support our teams and industry clients while building on a range of diverse skills.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Working closely with the wider team from Associates through to Partner to assess financial crime risk and compliance with legislation.
Identifying priority areas of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing risk and process improvement by understanding the organisations systems nature of their business AML/CTF risks control frameworks and regulatory environment.
Assisting with developing test plans and producing draft reports detailing results and observations.
End to end planning and execution of engagements for various financial services and gaming and wagering clients.
Meeting engagement deadlines and all deliverables in a timely manner.
The role is ideal for those who have an interest and/or prior experience in financial services or gaming and wagering and are looking to further develop your skills in this area. To be successful we see you adding value to our clients business by having the following experience and attributes:
Experience working in Risk Management or Internal Audit with a specific focus on anti-money laundering preferably at a professional services firm.
Tertiary level qualification or equivalent.
Anti-money laundering certifications.
Ability to think critically whilst applying your strong understanding of the relevant laws and regulations to complete risk and controls assessments make practical recommendations and provide industry insights.
The confidence to problem-solve business risk and design controls testing.
A client centric approach to your work with a curiosity to understand our clients and a genuine desire to add value.
Collaborative and consultative approach with client and team and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
The salary range for this role is $90000 to $95000 per annum inclusive of superannuation.
