Our global risk advisory group leverages our extensive industryexperience drawing on the risk governance and compliance know-howfrom each of our global practice groups to provide in-depthknowledge of the legal and regulatory challenges facing benefit from our preventative risk management andcompliance advice tailored risk management strategies and in-depthguidance on emergency response preparation and crisis managementsolutions.
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Associate to joinour Risk Advisory practice - which includes a core focus onFinancial Crime Compliance as it continues to grow. Workingclosely with Sonja Marsic and Jeremy Moller you will have focus onanti-money laundering sanctions compliance and advisory mattersregulatory investigations and Commonwealth prosecutions.
In particular we are keen to hear from candidates who areinterested in working with clients to achieve their compliance andstrategic objectives.
What we are looking for
- 4 years PQE gained within an external legal service provider and/or a regulatory agency (either in investigations and/or legal area)
- Experience in:
- advising on anti-money laundering and financial crime related areas including within regulated entities; and/or
- litigation including in civil regulation
- Excellent analytical written drafting and communication skills
- Attention to detail commitment to quality and good work ethic
- Focussed on strategic outcomes for clients
- A respectful and collegiate attitude to colleagues and clients
- Current and former associates in the Federal Court of Australia are encouraged to apply
- Those with experience in Commonwealth prosecutions (civil and/or criminal) for regulatory agencies are also encouraged to apply
