Demand on our services has created anopportunity for a Projects & Construction Senior Associate to jointhe Perth team working with TroyMcKelvie. As an integral member of our team you should expectto work on various projects across the energy infrastructure andconstruction sectors across a range of local regional and crossborder projects. Our Australian Projects team sits acrossour Perth Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne offices so you will joina large and collaborative national team while also working withcolleagues across the globe.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are asfollows;

Responsibilities

• Work on energy projects for project sponsors financiers and large energy users nationally.
• Advise on and draft a range of project documentation including power purchase agreements gas sales/supply (pipeline gas and LNG) and storage agreements connection agreements services and development agreements delivery and joint venture agreements.
• Manage work streams on large domestic and international projects.
• Liaise with clients on consents amendments and project delivery issues as they arise.
• Supervise and mentor Graduates Lawyers and Associates
• Liaise with clients and assist with business development initiatives

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years PQE gained within a front-end construction energy or projects practice
• Experience assisting on a range of energy/construction/projects matters
• Strong client liaison skills
• Excellent analytical drafting and communication skills
• Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously
