The role

• Advise on the development procurement and delivery of renewable energy and storage projects
• Draft and negotiate key project documents including EPC OEM supply O&M connection and offtake agreements
• Work on transactions sell-downs and investments across the energy transition including FID-stage projects
• Advise clients navigating government schemes such as the Capacity Investment Scheme and state-based tenders
• Collaborate with finance corporate and regulatory colleagues on complex multi-disciplinary matters
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and build your own client relationships

What youll bring

• Solid PQE in energy projects or infrastructure ideally from a top-tier or international firm
• Hands-on experience with renewables or energy project work (BESS hydrogen or transmission highly regarded)
• A commercial practical approach that clients trust
• Confidence running matters with minimal supervision
• Admission to practice in Australia
