Were looking for a high-performing Senior Associate in Energy Marketsto join a leading advisory team at the forefront of the energy transition. Based in Sydney youll play a key role in shaping strategic decisions across the electricity sector working with both public and private sector clients.

This is an opportunity to combine rigorous quantitative analysis with real-world impact helping organisations navigate complex market policy and investment challenges in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

The Role

As a senior member of the advisory team you will:

  • Lead and contribute to end-to-end energy market client engagements from problem definition through to recommendations and delivery
  • Develop data-driven insights on energy markets policy and the energy transition
  • Structure and deliver quantitative and economic analysis working closely with specialist modelling teams
  • Manage and mentor junior consultants guiding their development and output
  • Stay ahead of market and policy developments in Australias energy sector
  • Facilitate client workshops presentations and industry forums
About You

Core Requirements

  • 4 years experience in consulting withing Australian energy markets (NEM)
  • Strong track record in quantitative analysis problem-solving and insight generation
  • Experience managing projects and/or teams in collaborative environments
  • Exposure to areas such as grid/network modelling DERs PPAs or energy policy
  • Proficiency in data and analytical tools (e.g. Python R Matlab advanced Excel)
  • Demonstrated client-facing and stakeholder engagement experience
