At Aurizon were looking for an experienced and passionate analyst who thrives on solving complex problems and uncovering opportunities through data.

As a Senior Asset Performance Analyst within our Asset Intelligence team youll transform large and complex asset maintenance and operational datasets into actionable insights that improve reliability optimise investment and support strategic decision-making across the Network.

This is more than a reporting role. Youll partner with leaders across the business to identify risks challenge assumptions develop innovative analytical solutions and drive continuous improvement. Your work will directly influence how we manage asset performance and deliver long-term value for our customers and communities.

About the role:

• Build and manage strong internal and external relationships supporting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain models systems and data ensuring accuracy and providing clear insights and recommendations.
• Deliver analysis reporting andpropose actionable insights to support decision making and drive performance.
• Develop strategies and initiatives clearly identifying risks and impacts of options.
• Establish frameworks and processes to deliver reliable data insights and reporting to stakeholders.
• Analyse and challenge data assess risks and recommend practical solutions to improve reliability and performance.

What youll bring

• Advanced analytical data modelling and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong expertise in business intelligence reporting and data visualisation tools. Eg. SAP Power BI SQL Python
• The ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
• A strategic mindset and the confidence to engage influence and challenge stakeholders.
• A passion for continuous improvement and turning data into meaningful action.
