About the team:

Play a pivotal role in driving resilience uplift operational excellence and optimisation across critical clearing listing and settlement functions.
Youll collaborate closely with senior management to deliver resilience initiatives process design improvements and data-driven insights that strengthen operational readiness and compliance.

This role will suits a motivated self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment balancing strategy with hands-on execution.

What you will be doing:

Operational Resilience & Risk

  • Lead resilience reporting dashboards and metrics to demonstrate compliance and operational strength.

  • Support the delivery of strategic resilience initiatives and uplift programs aligned with business operations and resilience goals.

  • Monitor market and operational trends to identify emerging risks and provide actionable insights to management on resilience priorities.

  • Contribute to data governance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational insight on risks and controls.

  • Support incident management rehearsals contingency reviews and cross team reporting

Process Optimisation & Digitalisation

  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows reduce manual touchpoints and enhance data integrity.

  • Develop innovative reporting and dashboard solutions that drive data-led decision making and transparency.

  • Support data validation reconciliation and trend analysis across which underpin our core businesses (Issuer Services Clearing & Settlement Services).

  • Use tools such as Alteryx Power BI and Excel to create repeatable data pipelines and insights.

  • Communicate insights effectively through visuals summaries and presentations.

  • Partner with Technology Risk and Digital teams to pilot efficiency tools and strengthen control frameworks.

What you will bring:

Must have

  • Previous experience in financial operations process improvement or business analytics.

  • Strong data handling and visualisation skills (Excel Alteryx Power BI or similar).

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently show initiative and take ownership of outcomes

  • Highly developed analytical investigative and problem-solving abilities.

  • A go-getter mindset curious proactive and resourceful in solving problems.

  • Naturally analytical with a passion for exploring how things work and improving them.

  • Comfortable learning new automation or analytics tools.

  • Strong communicator who is able to translate operational data into actionable insights.

  • Collaborative delivery orientated thriving in cross-functional environments.

  • Structured and detail-oriented - you like clarity documentation and delivery discipline.

  • Motivated by purpose contributing to the safety efficiency and trust of Australian markets.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of clearing settlement or market operations (ASX Austraclear CHESS or equivalent).

  • Exposure to operational resilience risk or regulatory environments advantageous.
