Senior Analyst Financial Risk

At TAL youll play a key role in strengthening the frameworks that help us deliver on our promise to protect Australians with confidence. Working within the Line 2 Risk Office youll partner with stakeholders across the business to enhance financial risk management practices support critical decision making and help shape a strong and sustainable future for TAL. In This Role You Will:

• Provide trusted risk and compliance guidance to strengthen the management of financial risks across the business
• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of TALs Risk Appetite Statement
• Collaborate with Capital teams to support and evolve TALs Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) framework
• Lead the coordination and delivery of stress testing scenarios that strengthen business resilience
• Build strong stakeholder partnerships to embed risk awareness and promote effective risk management practices
• Deliver risk expertise and strategic advice to projects across TALs financial risk portfolio

Qualifications :

• Relevant tertiary qualification in a business risk finance actuarial or related discipline
• Experience or exposure to risk management capital management or financial services environments
• Understanding of life insurance prudential requirements capital frameworks or regulatory obligations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex issues and identify practical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset
