Synergie Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst Financial Control for a trusted client based in Melbourne Elizabeth Street.

The important parts:

  • Pay: $65$68.50 per hour Super
  • Duration: 6-month contract (potential to extend)
  • Hours: MondayFriday standard business hours (occasional early/late global calls with time in lieu)
  • Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite (Mon Tues Thurs) 2 days WFH

What you will be required to do:

Youll play a key role supporting financial control and reporting activities during a critical year-end period working within a collaborative finance team.

  • Supporting year-end reporting processes and deliverables
  • Refreshing and maintaining data loads for financial statements
  • Managing year-end questionnaires and stakeholder queries
  • Supporting internal controls reporting (e.g. enterprise risk register)
  • Completing ad hoc reporting including payment terms analysis
  • Assisting with technical accounting matters and month-end processes
  • Contributing to internal controls and compliance activities

To be successful in the role you will:

  • 35 years experience in financial control accounting or a similar role
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related discipline
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working toward)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting controls and technical accounting
  • Experience in Pharma/Biotech is advantageous but not essential
