Whats the role
As a Senior Analyst you will support the delivery of accurate and compliant statutory and financial reporting by preparing and reviewing externally reported documents monthly financial statements and supporting working papers. A key focus of the role is partnering with senior managers to coordinate and execute internal controls and governance processes that meet SOx disclosure and regulatory requirements while liaising with internal and external audit and compliance teams to ensure reports are complete accurate and delivered on time. You will analyse financial results to identify trends and variances resolve accounting issues review contributor inputs build strong stakeholder relationships and provide support on finance projects and ad hoc analysis.
What do I need
- Strong understanding of financial reporting is mandatory. Prior experience (either directly as a financial accountant or indirectly as a financial statement auditor) is advantageous.
- CA/CPA qualified with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience
- Financial services experience is advantageous particularly within banking with an understanding of banking products and their associated accounting and financial reporting considerations
- High level of organisation time-management skills and ability to prioritise competing items
- High attention to detail and a high level of initiative
