Senior Analyst, Finance Operations (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Job Summary
NOTE: This role has potential to be extended beyond the initial 12 month contract.
Join a high-performing Finance Operations team and play a key role in delivering critical data and automation processes that support TALs Finance business units. This position contributes to the monthly reporting cycle while helping drive operational excellence continuous improvement and innovative solutions across the function. Working alongside a team of passionate and highly motivated professionals the role offers the opportunity to be involved in meaningful change initiatives and efficiency improvements that create real business impact.

In this role you will:
- Support the execution of key Finance processes under supervision of the Manager or Senior Manager including
o Execution of Prophet models
o Execution of processes to update monthly assumptions
o Preparation manipulation and interpretation of data - Develop detailed knowledge of financial reporting requirements at TAL
- Support project and ad-hoc requests under supervision of the Manager or Senior Manager
Qualifications :
- Tertiary qualification in actuarial studies mathematics statistics or equivalent relevant disciplines
- Exposure to FIS insurance suite of products Prophet DCS
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills
Desirable:
- AASB 17 financial reporting experience
- Aptitude for learning new software tools
- Experience in delegating to junior team members
