We act for the roleThe Senior Adviser Recovery is responsible for providing support and technical advice to State and Territory leadership teams on emergency recovery programming. The role drives the strategic positioning of Australian Red Cross as specialists in recovery programs and ensures Operations Advocacy Partnerships and Marketing and Communication teams are best positioned with high level research advice and to day you will:Lead the development and delivery of evidence-based and best-practice resources training tools and workshops to enhance understanding of recovery from disasters and the organizational capacity of Australian Red Cross around recovery work and support volunteer workforce engagement and trainingAdvise on the implementation of recovery programs at community industry and state/ territory the the development of new recovery programming through program design logframe development PAT development and budget you will bringSubstantial experience in climate resilience emergency services or a related field preferably within a complex NGO corporate or philanthropic track record in managing high-value relationships across the emergency services and academic success in leading and guiding disaster resilience track record in managing high-value relationships across the emergency services and academic that act for you while you act for humanityWork flexibility: Australian Red Cross operates under a hybrid working model which includes two days on-site and three days from home providing you more work/life balanceFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
