Job Summary

We are partnering with an established and growing Adelaide-based advisory firm and are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their collaborative and client-focused team.

This is a newly created role driven by continued business growth offering the opportunity to step into a position with genuine impact and long-term career potential. This is a role for an accounting professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships mentoring junior team members and contributing to the broader success of the business.

You will work closely with Managers and Directors across a diverse client portfolio providing high-quality accounting taxation and business advisory services to SMEs family businesses and high-net-worth clients.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant you will play a key role in delivering professional advisory and compliance services while supporting the ongoing growth and development of client relationships.

This position offers genuine variety exposure to complex advisory matters and the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment that values collaboration professionalism and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for various entities and structures
Delivery of business advisory and taxation services to a broad client base
Managing client relationships and providing high-quality service and advice
Assisting Managers and Directors with advisory projects and strategic initiatives
Reviewing work completed by junior accountants and providing guidance and mentorship
Managing workflow priorities and meeting client deadlines
Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes
Assisting with process improvement initiatives and internal efficiencies
Contributing to business development activities and networking opportunities

About You
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

CA/ CPA qualified
3 years experience within a professional services/accounting firm environment
Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
Experience managing a portfolio of clients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and time management capabilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Leadership capability and willingness to mentor junior team members
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
