Opal Fibre Packaging Australia provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and safety conscious Semi-Truck Driver / Transport Driver to join the team on Dayshift (6am 3pm) at our depot in Mildura (Irymple).

The key focus of this role will be to:

• Completing local deliveries and pickups safely and on time
• Operating company trucks in accordance with road transport regulations
• Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
• Ensuring loads are secured and compliant with Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Operating forklifts to load unload and move stock
• Assisting with general warehouse and depot operations
• Supporting inventory and stock movements
• Maintaining a clean organised and safe workplace
• Providing professional customer service during deliveries
• Have availability to do overtime

The successful candidate for this role will possess:

• A current valid Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Licence
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous truck driving and forklift operating experience & clean driving record
• Experience in transport logistics or warehouse operations (preferred)
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements (would be highly regarded)
• A strong commitment to safety
• Excellent time management skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive can-do attitude!
