Key Responsibilities:

Are you a passionate innovative English teacher ready to make areal impact We are seeking an exceptional and engaging SecondaryEnglish and Literature teacher to join our thriving School. Be partof a school consistently recognised for excellent ATAR results arange of VET and Certificate courses and a focus on guidingstudents to reach their full potential.

Duties:

• Plan and deliver English lessons to Secondary students creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
• Prepare and implement effective assessments to track and report on student progress.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students ensuring all learners are supported and challenged.
• Communicate effectively with parents guardians and colleagues regarding student progress.

Essential Requirements:

• Current registration with the WA Teachers Registration Board
• Knowledge and experience of the WA English Curriculum.
• Ability to teach ATAR English.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience teaching English at Secondary levels.
• English Literature not essential but it certainly is an advantage
• Potentially teaching EALD (English as an Additional Language or Dialect) ATAR as we grow our international students within our School.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Evidence of providing a differentiated curriculum.
• Willingness to contribute to wider school programs including co-curricular camps or other school-based activities.

Relevant qualification and experiences will be will also need a valid Working with Children card(or willingness to obtain one).
