Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
1. Implementation & Configuration
Lead or support configuration of P2P processes in SAP MM (Materials Management):
o Purchase requisitions & purchase orders
o Release strategies
o Goods receipt & inventory management
o Invoice verification (MIRO)
o Vendor management & source list
o Subcontracting consignment thirdparty procurement
Configure S/4HANAspecific functionalities:
o Fioribased procurement apps
o Business Partner (BP) concept
o MIGO/MIRO simplifications
o MRP and purchasing integration
Set up tax procedures (GST/VAT/WHT) based on localization needs.
2. Requirement Analysis & Design
Gather business requirements through workshops and discussions.
Conduct fitgap analysis and propose bestpractice S/4HANA solutions.
Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments (RICEFW items).
Define endtoend P2P process design aligned with business strategy.
Integration Management
Work closely with functional teams from:
o FI (Invoice postings)
o SD (Thirdparty procurement)
o WM/EWM (Inventory & warehousing)
o PP (Material requirements & production integration)
Collaborate with technical teams for interface design with Ariba vendors or legacy systems.
Testing Deployment & Support
Prepare and execute test scripts for unit testing SIT and UAT.
Ensure smooth deployment of P2P processes across SAP landscapes.
Provide L2/L3 application support and resolve issues within SLAs.
Assist in data migration for:
o Vendor master
o Material master
o Open POs
o Inventory balances
Documentation & Training
Prepare solution documents SOPs and enduser training materials.
Conduct training sessions for key users and procurement staff.
3. Required Skills
Functional Expertise
Strong experience in SAP MM / P2P modules including:
o Purchasing
o Inventory Management
o Vendor Master
o Invoice Verification
S/4HANA skills:
o Fiori procurement apps
o BP master data
o New MIGO/MIRO functionalities
o Embedded analytics
Solid understanding of P2P business processes in manufacturing retail or service industries.
Technical Understanding (FunctionalTechnical)
Ability to write/validate functional specifications for:
o BAPIs
o IDocs
o OData
Understanding of integration middleware (CPI/PI/PO).
4. Preferred Experience
410 years of SAP MM/P2P implementation and support experience.
Minimum one S/4HANA implementation or conversion project.
Experience with:
o Ariba integration (preferred)
o EWM/WM
o GST/VAT localizations
o Vendor portal integrations
Knowledge of MRP subcontracting and service procurement.
