About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U ABAP Developer to join a leading Utilities program supporting BAU AMS Production Support and Enhancement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development SAP IS-U modules and production support in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop enhance and support SAP IS-U applications using ABAP on S/4HANA.
  • Provide BAU production support issue analysis debugging and defect resolution.
  • Design and develop Reports BAPIs BADIs User Exits Enhancements and Interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain Print Workbench SmartForms and Adobe Forms.
  • Perform performance tuning code optimization and technical troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support system enhancements testing deployments and production releases.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 710 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U including Billing FICA and Device Management.
  • Experience with Reports BAPIs BADIs Enhancements User Exits and Interfaces.
  • Strong knowledge of Print Workbench SmartForms and Adobe Forms.
  • Excellent debugging performance tuning and production support experience.
  • Experience with ABAP on HANA Object-Oriented ABAP IDocs and Web Services.
  • Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 is desirable.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Utilities industry experience.
  • Experience working in AMS/Production Support environments.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
