Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
SAP ABAP Development
Design and develop custom programs using:
o Reports (Classical & ALV)
o BAPIs BADIs Enhancements (Implicit/Explicit)
o User Exits Customer Exits
o SmartForms Adobe Forms
o RFCs/Web Services
Work on performance tuning and code optimization.
Develop CDS Views (for S/4HANA environments).
Develop custom SAP Fiori applications using:
o SAPUI5
o JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS
o Fiori Elements
Implement and extend standard Fiori apps.
Manage tiles catalogs and groups in Fiori Launchpad.
Design and develop OData services using:
o SEGW gateway builder
o CDS annotations
Integrate Fiori apps with backend SAP systems.
Connect ABAP and UI layers for seamless data flow.
Provide technical support for SAP modules (SD/MM/FI/PP etc.) as required.
Troubleshoot issues in ABAP and Fiori layers.
Participate in code reviews unit testing and UAT support.
Work closely with functional consultants for requirement gathering.
Interact with business users to translate needs into technical solutions.
Collaborate with BASIS and security teams for deployment and authorizations.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP on ECC or S/4HANA.
Experience in:
o SAP Fiori/UI5 custom development
o Fiori Launchpad configuration
o CDS Views AMDP ABAP on HANA
o OData service creation (CRUDQ operations)
Solid understanding of MVC design REST principles and frontend UI patterns.
Familiarity with SAP WebIDE or BAS (Business Application Studio).
