We are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a safety-focused sales professional to join our Nutrien Water Gladstone team.
What Youll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be exposed to various areas of the business including but not limited to.
- Retail and trade sales on a variety of products within our water business including irrigation pumping mining and filtration
- Answering customer enquires via phone calls emails site visits and instore with an emphasis on growing trade sales
- Preparing estimates and assisting with project pricing and product selection
- Stocktakes
- Invoicing
- Warehouse/dispatch activities including customer deliveries
- This role is diverse and extensive training will be provided
What Youll Bring:
To be successful it is desirable if you can demonstrate:
- Experience in the irrigation industry in similar or other roles
- Experience within the irrigation industry (commercial domestic turf or related sectors)
- Strong product and system knowledge across irrigation pumping and/or filtration solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer enquiries across phone email in-store and on-site environments
- High quality customer service
- Experience and a passion for sales and building client relationships
- Ability to work in a team
- Can do attitude - eager to learn and grow
- Ability to work effectively in a safety-focused environment
- Either hold or be willing to obtain a forklift license.
- Clean and current drivers license is essential for this role
