We are looking for a liftModernization Sales Consultantbased in ourMelbourne officein Victoria

You will be responsible for selling the OTIS range ofModernization products and developing good relationships with our customers in a competitive environment.

Thispermanent rolereports to the Modernization Sales Manager.

• Generate Modernization sales leads from construction lead indicators industry reports tenders personal sales research and customer networks.

• Determine client requirements and design parameters quickly in order to configure Otis products/solutions and be able to assist in the development of future construction projects to maximize Otiss opportunity to secure new business.

• Develop and implement a strategy to maximize Otiss opportunity for acceptance of proposals.

• Conduct negotiations with clients gaining progressive support from local management and Support Departments depending on the size of the project.

• Interact with senior management within OTIS to develop sales strategies value propositions and manage the sales through OTIS sales processes.

• Maintain a sound knowledge of Otiss and its competitors product range the building and construction industry relevant Codes and contract practices to competently deal with building owners agents architects builders consultants developers and statutory authorities.

• Sales experience within the Lift or Engineering industry will be preferred.

• Experience working within a large matrixed company environment and proven sales track record for developing and selling large deals.

• Exposure toselling services to property management companies strata corporations and building owners will be preferred.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in business Engineering or its equivalent would be preferred but not essential.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Have exceptional time management skills and possess strong organizational abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and results-driven.

• Good knowledge of using technology including mobile applications and computer-based reporting systems (Word Excel Email Internet database management) to analyze data and trends.
