Sales Assistant

Our Haymes Paint Stores are seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to support our Coolum Currimundi and Noosa stores as required averaging approximately 25 hours per week (May Vary week to week)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road building customer relationships and delivering exceptional service while representing a trusted Australian brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver paint and related products safely and efficiently to trade and retail customers across multiple locations.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service during deliveries and in-store interactions.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers answering product enquiries and providing basic paint advice.
• Load unload and transport products while ensuring safe manual handling practices.
• Assist customers with order collection and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Process customer orders in-store and over the phone.
• Support stock receiving inventory control stock replenishment and store housekeeping.
• Assist with paint tinting and product preparation as required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Build strong relationships with customers through reliable service and regular interactions.

About you:

• Current drivers licence with a safe driving record.
• Previous delivery driving courier logistics or customer-facing experience highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks including lifting and loading paint products.
• Reliable organised and able to work independently.
• Experience using POS systems handheld devices or other technology.
• Ability to travel between Coolum Currimundi and Noosa stores as required.
• Trade hardware paint or building industry experience is desirable but not essential.
