Job Summary
Sales Account Managers are responsible for building and growing relationships with advertisers and agencies driving revenue growth and delivering consultative solutions across Amazons advertising suite. You will partner with clients to develop full-funnel strategies (awareness consideration conversion) across Video Display and DSP respond to agency briefs and build media plans across Amazon Canvas.
This is a sales role with strong account management and planning components: youll own a portfolio of clients deliver proactive recommendations and unlock new opportunities by showing how Amazons ad solutions connect the customer journey across full funnel. The role requires someone commercially minded operationally strong and comfortable navigating screens strategies digital platforms and programmatic environments.
Basic Qualifications
5 years in digital media sales/account management (agency or publisher)
Proven screens experience (Video/CTV/BVOD/OTT)
Digital platforms and DSP proficiency including programmatic campaign knowledge
Demonstrated operational and administrative excellence including campaign setup reporting and process management
Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals
Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills with senior clients
Analytical ability to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable client insights
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced ambiguous environments
Key job responsibilities
As Account Manager you will:
Become an expert on Amazon canvas understand our advertisers needs and consult them with insights and recommendations to achieve business growth
Respond to client and agency briefs with compelling insight-driven media proposals that integrate Video Display and DSP
Act as a trusted advisor to clients consulting on cross-screen strategies that drive measurable brand and business outcomes
Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing and internal teams to support advertiser success and influence future innovation
Maintain operational excellence in campaign execution reporting and administrative workflows to ensure flawless delivery
- 5 years of digital sales account management business development or partner management experience
- Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV OOH cinema digital display online video and paid social
- Knowledge of DSP within ad platform architecture (bidding engines second-price vs first-price auctions pixel and tag managers cookies viewability etc.)
- Experience analyzing campaign performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Experience in TV buying and video buying
- Knowledge of digital video landscape including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
- Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
