Following extensive consultation and careful review the No to Violence (NTV) Board has made the decision to establish Mens Family Violence Services Australia (MFVSA) as a fully independent organisation dedicated to delivering specialist services that work directly with men to end their use of family violence.
MFVSA aims become Australias leading specialist service delivery organisation focused on multi-session and place-based interventions for men who use family violence. MFVSA is positioned to deliver high-quality evidence-informed services that support safer outcomes for victim survivors families and communities.

Recruitment for an independent Board Chair and Chief Executive Officer is currently underway with additional leadership and operational roles to be advertised in the coming weeks. Independent operations are expected to commence on or around 1 October 2026 subject to funding body approvals. About the role
Role Type: Permanent Part-time (0.8 FTE)
Classification: SCHADS Level 6.3
Location: Hybrid or remote

The Manager Quality Risk and Compliance is a standalone leadership role responsible for strengthening MFVSAs quality safety risk compliance and governance systems. Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services the role will lead the development implementation and review of quality and safety frameworks compliance plans accreditation processes risk management systems internal audit activity incident management and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will suit an experienced quality risk and compliance professional who can work autonomously influence senior leaders and provide clear advice to the Executive Team and Board. You will help ensure MFVSA meets legislative regulatory contractual and accreditation obligations while promoting a culture of safety accountability learning and continuous quality improvement.
About you
You will be highly organised systems-focused and confident working across quality safety risk and compliance frameworks. You will bring sound judgement strong communication skills and the ability to interpret data monitor assurance activity manage compliance obligations and support leaders to strengthen safe and effective service delivery.
- Experience developing implementing and reviewing quality safety risk and compliance frameworks systems policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to support accreditation regulatory compliance internal audit activity and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Strong understanding of risk management incident management hazards near misses complaints feedback and escalation processes.
- Ability to provide clear reporting and advice to leadership executive teams boards or committees on compliance risk quality and safety matters.
- Experience overseeing organisational knowledge management policy review strategic reporting or business management systems would be highly regarded.
