As a Safety Support Coordinator youll play a key role in delivering and enhancing safety across the Infrastructure Development & Delivery (IDD) function within the Water Group. Youll help drive the implementation of WHS programs systems and initiatives that protect our people and ensure compliance across a diverse portfolio of projects.

From analysing safety data and coordinating reporting to supporting risk management and training initiatives this is a varied hands-on role where your work will genuinely make a difference.

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System
  • Coordinating WHS reporting dashboards and data insights to inform decisions
  • Assisting teams with risk management compliance monitoring and corrective actions
  • Driving safety initiatives and contributing to training programs
  • Managing remote worker systems (inReach/Breon) and ensuring safe field operations
  • Supporting incident reporting and investigation processes (CAMMS)

About You

Youre a proactive and detail-oriented safety professional who enjoys working collaboratively and influencing positive safety outcomes.

Youll bring:

  • Knowledge of WHS legislation and best practice standards
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working with safety systems reporting or compliance frameworks
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes
  • Qualifications in WHS (or equivalent experience)
  • A current drivers licence and willingness to travel within NSW as needed

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or related discipline and/or relevant experience
  • Current drivers licence and the ability to travel to client locations across NSW
