An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and proactive Safety Risk and Compliance Officer to join our Business and Operations Team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Colleges commitment to providing a safecompliantand well-managed environment for studentsstaffand visitors through the effective coordination of workplace safety riskmanagementand compliance systems.
This is afull timeongoing position tocommenceas soon as possible.
As the Safety Risk and Compliance Officer you will:
Coordinate and support the Colleges workplace health and safety framework.
Maintain the College Risk Register and support risk management processes across all areas of the College.
Monitor compliance obligations andassistwith policyauditand regulatory requirements.
Coordinate incident hazard and injury reporting and ensureappropriate follow-upactions are implemented.
Support emergency management planning workplaceinspectionsand safety initiatives.
Provide reporting dataanalysisand recommendations to support continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone who has:
A genuine commitment to workplace safetywellbeingand continuous improvement.
Experience in workplace health and safety risk managementcomplianceor a related field.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse school community.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare reports andmaintainaccuratedocumentation.
