Brief Summary of role:
As the Corporate Services Safety & Compliance Officer youll provide high-level administrative support across Kalanos corporate and operational teams. Your responsibilities will range from general administration project coordination and policy management to assisting with internal audits and compliance reporting.
This is a diverse and hands-on role that offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems services and staff support across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Corporate Services team
- Assist in preparing reports correspondence and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Support compliance-related tasks including internal audits record-keeping and action tracking
- Maintain and update registers policies procedures and quality documents
- Help coordinate training and induction programs
- Liaise with various teams to monitor task completion timelines and quality standards
- Assist with project coordination data analysis and continuous improvement activities
- Promote a culture of professionalism accountability and excellence in service delivery
Salary and Conditions:
Employment Type: Full-time Parttime
Salary Range: $73152.79 $88332.34 per annum (pro-rata)
Leave Entitlements:
- 6 weeks annual leave
- 2 weeks sick leave
- 2 weeks ancillary leave
- 1 Rostered Day Off per month

Location: Kalanos Main Office Katherine NT 0850
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. Monday Friday 08:00am 4:30pm. with a 1hour unpaid lunch break.
The successful applicant should possess the following:
Qualifications
- Certificate in Business Admin or Quality Auditing (or willing to obtain)
Experience & Skills
- Strong administration experience in a corporate or community services environment
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NDIS Aged Care ISO standards) is desirable
- Confident working with Microsoft Office and internal systems
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records and coordinate multiple tasks or projects
- A proactive detail-focused approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements
Mandatory before commencement:
- Valid NT Drivers Licence
- Valid NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
- National Police Check
Willing to obtain upon commencement:
- Influenza Vaccination & Covid-19 Vaccination
- NDIS Screening Clearance
