SHEQ Advisor / Safety Advisor Find Your Further with Ventia
Ventia is seeking an experienced Safety Health and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to support operations across Millmerran Power Station and our Roches Road Facility in Withcott.
Working across Millmerran Power Station and Roches Road Facility Withcott on an approximate 50:50 basis youll provide hands-on SHEQ support to operational teams helping drive safety culture risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide practical SHEQ support to leaders and frontline teams.
  • Conduct audits inspections and assurance activities.
  • Lead and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate risk assessments and critical risk management activities.
  • Monitor SHEQ performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative contractual and business requirements.
  • Promote the consistent application of Ventia SHEQ systems and processes.

Youll bring:

  • Experience in a SHEQ HSE or Safety Advisor role within a high-risk industry.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum).
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and risk management principles.
  • Experience with audits investigations and assurance activities.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence.
