Experienced Road Crew Cairns RegionLocal Workforce Hire is currently representing a client looking for experienced road crew workers for a 3-month contract in the Cairns region.Position Details

• Location: Cairns QLD
• Hours: 6:00 am 3:00 pm
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: $38 per hour superannuation
• Contract: 3 months
• Team: Small road crew

About the RoleYoull be working as part of a small road crew team assisting with a range of manual labouring tasks including:

• Laying pipes
• Building headwalls
• Pothole patching
• Digging and concreting
• General road maintenance and labouring duties

This role involves physical manual work so youll need to be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience working as part of a road crew or in a similar roadworks role
• Experience with physical manual labour including digging and concreting
• A Manual C Class drivers licence (MR licence would be an advantage)
• Full working rights in Australia
• Reliable transport and the ability to travel to and from the clients local depot
• A positive attitude towards workplace health and safety
• A strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
