Key Responsibilities:
ENC/END
- Deliver safe person-centred nursing care by undertaking assessments routine procedures and care activities appropriate to the area of practice and within scope.
- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Midwife plan prioritise and complete nursing care tasks demonstrating initiative sound clinical judgement and accountability for own practice.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team including supporting and overseeing Assistants in Nursing and students in the provision of care.
- Contribute to quality improvement evidence-based practice and research activities supporting continuous improvement of patient and service outcomes.
- Provide education to patients families and carers contribute to the learning of others and actively maintain professional development and competence.
