Whats the role

As a Risk Analyst within the Financial Crime Surveillance team youll work in the first line of defence supporting key activities across Know Your Customer (KYC) Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) and Sanctions compliance.

Youll investigate customer information assess risk indicators engage with customers and internal stakeholders and make informed decisions that support regulatory compliance and customer protection.

During your first 810 weeks youll complete a comprehensive accreditation and training program requiring full-time attendance in the office. Once accredited youll transition to a hybrid working model of three days in the office and two days from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer remediation activities through phone email branch and correspondence channels
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders through phone email and other communication channels.
  • Reviewvalidate and update customer identification and KYC information.
  • Manage customer communication lifecycles and compliance-related follow-up activities.
  • Ensure compliance with AML/CTF KYC and regulatory requirements whilemaintainingaccuratecustomer records.

  • Confidence engaging with customers via inbound and outbound calls
  • High attention to detail and ability to make sound risk-based decisions
  • Experience working across multiple systems and managing competing priorities required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

Desirable skills

  • Experience in banking financial services compliance risk or a related field
  • Exposure to financial crime AML KYC customer due diligence or remediation activities
